Junior World Orienteering Championships Middle Qualification (13/07/2016)

2nd place (57 starters) in mens heat B, 34'' behind winner Joey Hadorn. Exactly the race I wanted for the qualification. I was really happy to perform like that after the failed long!

In the beginning I stayed on the open-fields to get into the scale and furthermore be able to run fast.
#2 - #4 I enjoyed the part really much, OL im Flow ist einfach was geiles!
To #5 I made a mistake where I lost about 20'', I just ran a little bit too far, but realised it quite soon and went back to the control.
The remaining race was fine, I stopped when I was unsure about anything, but speeded up when I was sure about everything!

I accomplished my plan and had a good starting position for the final!
